New National Citizen Service Volunteering Project Manager (VPM) for South Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire

Laura graduated in International Development in 2006, and has since worked with young people in a variety of roles, helping them develop confidence and achieve their potential. Laura is looking forward to helping 16 year olds access the new experiences and confidence that the NCS programme will bring.

Laura will be working in ‘the North’ - her actual area is South Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, and the clubs she will be working with are Sheffield United, Barnsley, Rotherham, Hull City, and Scunthorpe. Laura says  “The NCS programme offers something for every young person. It’s a really great springboard from year 11, giving young people new confidence in themselves and the knowledge that they can make a difference.”  For more about Laura and to meet the rest of the WWV team click here
